I think the sky broke down again
The stars are crying and clouds are bleeding
Scarlet rust spattered across the atmosphere
Anyone could see the blood from here
And I watch the moon weep
Teal sea breeze wandering as a frown over planets
Undying, the oceans stopped crashing waves
The wind stopped blowing and the animals hid away
Twilight never came; morning ceased to fade
And I watch people sleep

Where did the day go?
It's not on schedule
Expectations—I know them well
But hypocrisy forced us to hell

Galaxies spiraled out of control again
Go to collide, make supernovas
Black holes become rainbows as everything's swallowed
Anyone can hear the screams from here
And I watch the worlds plead

Twilight never came
Morning ceased to fade
Nighttime ate the innocents on the other side of the world
Those we think deserve do receive

Where did the day go?
